Kamenjak Peninsula / Skoljic Bay
On the wild, protected Kamenjak peninsula at Croatia's southern Istrian tip near Premantura, Skoljic Bay is a rugged, scenic spot better suited to riders who already have control, with most coming for blasting and freeride sessions. It works on the easterly band, best in NE, ENE, E, ESE and SE, where the Bora and Jugo deliver the strongest, most rewarding wind, particularly in autumn when conditions can turn powerful. The water is mixed, flatter close in but choppy and lumpy further out, with offshore islands kicking up small waves on southerlies. Launch space is tight along this rocky, low-lying coastline, so pick your patch carefully and rig with room to spare. The protected-park setting keeps it less developed and crowds modest outside competition season, though wind days draw the regional crew. The dominant hazard is sharp rocks; boots are wise. Best for intermediates and advanced riders.
