Dakhla Lagoon PK 25

NE

PK25 sits on Dakhla's famous Atlantic-Sahara lagoon, a world-class flat-water playground prized by freeriders, freestylers and complete beginners alike. The standout draw is the near-mirror water at the lagoon's edge combined with steady cross-shore wind that turns onshore and reliable through the long season. The NE trade-and-thermal flow is what powers the spot, blowing almost daily and ramping into the 25-plus knot range through the windiest summer months, with spring to early autumn the peak window. Conditions are a mix of glassy flat in the protected shallows and choppier open water further out as the tide and wind build. The setup is pure white sand with huge room to rig, launch and land, and shallow standing-depth banks that make it forgiving for first-timers. Kite camps cluster along this shore so the lagoon draws plenty of riders, yet there is space for everyone.
