The water is mixed: large expanses of waist-deep, crystal-clear flats and sandbars firm up at low tide for butter-flat riding, while higher water brings more chop. It works on both NE and SE winds, typically blowing a manageable 15-22 knots, with the season running broadly from around August through March. The wide, sandy beach offers ample, obstacle-free room to rig, launch and land. Being genuinely off the beaten track, it sees few kiters, so crowding is rarely a concern. Mind the strong tidal range and shifting sandbars, plan sessions around the tide, and treat it as a spot best enjoyed with self-sufficiency given its isolation; suitable for confident beginners upward.
