Lambeau is Tobago's main kite beach, near Scarborough on the island's southwest, a relaxed Caribbean spot with warm water and easy trade-wind riding. The northeast trades blow side- to onshore from the left across the ENE-to-ESE band, most reliably from mid-December to May and sometimes into June, typically a manageable 14-22 knots, with the steadiest winter wind from November to January. The water is wave-prone, with open-coast bumps and small waves rather than a flat lagoon. The sandy beach gives decent room to launch. It is an uncrowded, friendly scene without the congestion of bigger Caribbean hubs, and it is warm enough year-round to ride in boardshorts. The trade-and-wave setup makes it best for intermediates and up; July to November is the stormy off-season to avoid.
